Wasser ist ein ganz besonderer Stoff, „das Blut des Planeten“, wie Leonardo da Vinci das lebenswichtige Elixier treffend beschrieb. Wasser war für die Geschichte unserer Erde der Urstoff allen Lebens. Vor rund 400 Millionen Jahren krabbelten die ersten Lebewesen aus dem Wasser und erstürmten das Land.
